Situated in South West France amidst rolling hills, caves, gorges, hot springs and magical glens is an area which was occupied by the Cathars who are known as ‘the pure ones’. The Cathar religion although a Christian religion, was not recognised by the Catholic church. Consequently, the Cathars were persecuted and exterminated by order of the Pope.
The area has plentiful ancient energetic sites and castle ruins. Rennes-le-Château a small village on top of a hill is currently the spiritual hub with much to experience. Originally, this was a roman site dedicated to the cult of Isis and then later Catholics later dedicated the village’s church to Mary Magdalene. This town has also been associated with the Knights Templar.
There are many energetic and initiation sites in this area which we will visit and delve into our internal world.
